Shilpa Dhuru Pathare received her undergraduate degree in Architecture from the Academy of Architecture, Mumbai in 1990. After co-founding 'Cucina Design' and managing several interior projects, she pursued her graduate studies in Interior Design at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1994. Her graduate thesis work was published in the Journal of Interior Design Education and Research and a competition entry in the publication, Kitchen and Bath Design.
Shilpa has wide experience in residential and tenant improvement projects. She worked with several reputable firms in the Bay area. Prominent amongst the projects she worked on were La Fiesta Square in Lafayette and The Village in Corte Madera.
